Another movie trailer for y’all that I think will make for a good watch. It is Middle of Nowhere directed by Ava DuVernay and it won her the 2012 Sundance Film Festival Award for Best Director!!! She is the very first African-American to win this honor so much love and well wishes to her from us here at theintellution.com for her success with this film up to this point and in the future. Middle of Nowhere tells the story of a young woman named Ruby (played by actress Emayatzy Corinealdi), who drops out of medical school in order to focus on her husband’s well being after he is sentenced to 8 years in prison. This ends up leading her on a journey of self-discovery in the process, and paints a vivid portrait of a woman struggling between two worlds and two men in the search for her true self. It also stars Omari Hardwick, David Oyelowo, Maya Gilbert, and Lorraine Toussaint. It’s set to be released in select cities in October 2012 so click the first link above to see if it’s coming to a city near you. I hope you enjoy the trailer and thanks for reading.
