Amongst all the negativity often surrounding collegiate fraternities, it was nice to see something that speaks to a portion of the good in which they are often engaged. A list was composed comparing the 75 fraternities that are members of the North-American Interfraternity Conference and of the 75 the top 25 fraternities in 2012 were listed. Using criteria listed here, all 4 of the NPHC fraternities within the conference made the list with one even making it into the top 10. Now I’m not saying that I completely agree with all the criteria and information used, but, as I stated before, I think the emphasis on the positive aspects that the organizations bring about is what’s important. And to see the African-American fraternities holding their own and obtaining recognition among their counterparts is also something that should be commended. So I give a tip of the hat to those 4 organizations that were ranked, and I also say keep holding it down for your respective frats. If you’re interested you can find where exactly they ranked below.
