I will begin this post by saying that I was not up on Robert Glasper until earlier this year when I took a trip to NY. (Much Love to the homie The Audacity of Dope!) I saw him perform live, and he is quite a talent to say the least. Yet, I must say that I was still even more amazed at how good his music is when this song was brought to my attention by a friend and frequent visitor to theintellution.com. (Props to Political K). To me, the following song epitomizes what soulful music is all about! If you take 3.5 minutes to just sit back, stop whatever you’re doing, and listen to it, I’m sure it will take you to a place of peace where a nice groove accompanies you to your final destination of jazz, R&B, and neo-soul. It features the vocals of Musiq Soulchild and Chrisette Michele and the collaboration makes for something that will definitely be a love song for the ages. It comes off Mr. Glasper’s upcoming album entitled “Black Radio”, and if the rest of the album sounds anything like this joint…you wont hesitate to become a fan of his music much like myself and a few others around here at theintellution.com. Enjoy!

Definitely a good jam, compilation of soul and jazz. Keep “em” coming.
Musiq Soulchild AND Chrisette Michelle – I was sold before I even listened to this song….The title caught my eye but it took a week to sit down and give it a listen. I was not disappointed. I will definitiely be adding Robert Glasper to my list of “good music”…
Real chill. I like it.
